Your UX Design Programme
There are few places where creative people feel more at home than in the world of media design! Here you can turn your visions into reality and realise fantastic projects that will make many people's eyes light up with excitement.
In the media design degree programme specialising in UX/UI Design & AI, you will learn how to design intuitive and user-friendly digital products. You will deal with the conception of user interfaces, the creation of wireframes and interactive prototypes. Study content in the media design degree programme
The courses in the 1st and 2nd semesters initially focus on the basics of visual design in the discourse of classic and modern media. This is followed by specialisation in UX/UI Design & AI with practice-oriented projects. The aim of the UX Design degree programme is to develop innovative concepts for media design in a wide variety of areas and at the same time to get a feel for how to successfully market promising design projects.

Do you have your bachelor's degree in media design in your pocket, but want more? Then take a look at our Master's in Design degree programmes. Deepen the knowledge you have gained in the design programme and experience the symbiosis of creativity and cutting-edge technology in a holistic understanding. Or acquire additional skills in Design Management and qualify for international management positions. The Master's in Digital Leadership prepares you for dealing with digital transformations and successful change management.

Enrollment Requirements
- Higher Education Entrance Qualification (Abitur) or equivalent diploma, i.e. IB or A-levels (check with our counseling department whether your diploma qualifies)
- English skills. Language proof: TOEFL IPT: 543, TOEFL IBT: 74, IELTS (Academic): 6, Cambridge FCE: B2, PTE Academic: 59, IB Diploma: English A or B at HL or SL, BI 'English Language Proficiency Exam': PASS. We also accept Duolingo.
Information for applicants from abroad: You have the possibility to check your international certificates independently in advance via uni-assist and to inform yourself about the requirements for your admission: TO UNI-ASSIST
International students who have not met the HZB requirements must complete the Studienkolleg preparatory course to be admitted to higher education in Germany. mdh has partnered with IISC to offer this course at our Berlin Campus which will earn them the qualification to study at mdh.

- be able to react flexibly to changes (especially of a technical nature).
- be able to cope with deadline pressure, because things can get hectic in this field.
Admission requirements for the Media Design degree programme
- General higher education entrance qualification, entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences or a qualification recognised as equivalent.
Tuition Fees
- Campus Berlin: English language program: EU citizens: 4.110,00 EUR/Semester | Non-EU citizens: 6.300,00 EUR/Semester
- Campus Düsseldorf: German language program: EU-Citizens: 4.068,90 EUR/Semester | Non-EU citizens: 6.300,00 EUR/Semester
- Campus München: German language program: EU-Citizens: 4.068,90 EUR/Semester | Non-EU citizens: 6.300,00 EUR/Semester
For all courses we charge a one-time registration fee of 490,00 EUR and a one-time examination fee of 1.050,00 EUR.
For non-EU citizens, the one-time examination fee of 1.050,00 EUR is included in the tuition price.
In case of prepayment (semesterly, annually, completely) the tuition fees can be reduced by up to 5%. (This discount is not compatible with early registration discounts).
