The Sino-German Cooperative Education Program in Art and Design (referred to as the "Sino-German Program"), jointly established by Hunan Normal University (China) and Mediadesign University (Germany), is a government-approved collaborative education program recognized by the higher education authorities of both China and Germany. The program follows a "3+1" model, with students studying at the Chinese campus for the first three years and at the German campus in their fourth year. Upon completion of all required courses and meeting academic standards, students will receive a bachelor’s degree certificate and graduation diploma from Hunan Normal University, as well as a bachelor’s degree certificate from Mediadesign University. The program is approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education under approval number: MOE43DE2A20192046N.

To meet the English teaching needs of the Sino-German Program in Art and Design, Berlin University of Applied Sciences for Media and Design is now publicly recruiting 1 English Teacher based on the principles of open recruitment, comprehensive evaluation, and merit-based selection. Details are as follows:

I. Job Responsibilities

1. Independently undertake daily English teaching tasks for the program, actively engage with students, and provide after-class tutoring and academic support.
2. Develop and update syllabi, teaching schedules, and related academic documentation for English courses.
3. Organize English salons, German Culture Week, and other activities to enhance students’ language proficiency and cultural understanding.
4. Guide students in preparing study-abroad materials and assist with application processes and follow-up procedures.
5. Complete other assigned tasks by the institution.

II. Qualifications

1. Compliance and Professional Ethics: Adhere to laws and regulations of both China and Germany, uphold institutional policies, demonstrate strong responsibility, and maintain a passion for English teaching.
2. Educational Background: Master’s degree or higher in English-related disciplines.
3. Competencies: Strong logical thinking, communication, coordination, and presentation skills; ability to teach in a fully English-speaking environment.

III. Preferred Qualifications

1. Overseas Experience: Candidates with overseas study experience are preferred. Overseas degree holders must provide a Foreign Academic Credential Verification Report issued by the Center for Overseas Education, Chinese Ministry of Education.
2. Language Proficiency: Priority given to candidates with outstanding TOEFL or IELTS scores.
3. Teaching Experience: Candidates with IELTS teaching experience at universities or English training institutions are preferred.

一、岗位职责

1. 独立承担该项目的日常英语教学任务，积极与学生互动沟通，解决学生课外辅导答疑及教学相关课外活动任务。
2. 独立负责该项目英语课程的教学大纲、教学日历及相关教务资料的撰写与更新。
3. 每学期组织英语沙龙、德国文化周等相关活动，提升学生的语言应用能力与文化理解能力。
4. 指导该项目出国留学学生准备相关材料，协助学生顺利完成留学申请及后续事宜。

The Business Development Manager for International Student Recruitment will oversee all student recruitment activities, business development activities, account management and marketing events for B2B channels across the country or region you will manage. You will work closely with mdh management team to develop B2B channels and implement marketing and sales strategies to promote international student recruitment for mdh. You will be representing our university in the region of your expertise.

Requirements:

Essential Criteria

1. You have experience with international student recruitment for Higher Education.

2. You have an established and relevant agency network and solid relationships with key stakeholders in these agencies.

3. A solid understanding of industry trends is essential to inform the group on strategic planning and forecasting.

4. You have developed and trained education agents on how to promote the brand you represent.

5. You have experience sourcing agents from fairs, business trips, enquiries, referrals, in general searches in line with business development responsibilities.

6. You have experience in generating new revenue from existing streams and accounts as well as identifying new opportunities.

7. You have a proven track record of assisting in identifying and supporting developing potential business partners and growing existing client relationships.

8. You have experience performing client research including (but not limited to) meeting/engaging with key players in the industry.

9. You are a highly motivated character who strives for success in all areas.
