Your MBE degree: structure, content & specialisation
The MBE programme is designed to be practical, international and future-oriented. You can complete it full-time in three semesters or part-time in four semesters - depending on how you want to combine your studies with your job.
Study specialisations
Engineering Project Management
You will plan and manage complex technical projects according to international standards and learn how to manage risks and resources efficiently.
Innovation & Quality Management
You will analyse technological trends, design structures that promote innovation and implement QM systems in accordance with ISO standards.
Digital transformation in technical companies
You will develop strategies for automation, digitalisation of value chains and data-based decision-making.
Lean Engineering & Technology Strategy
You will familiarise yourself with methods such as Six Sigma and Lean Engineering and develop technological roadmaps for sustainable corporate success.
Your MBE programme in Engineering Management consists of several key components: You will develop in-depth expertise in technical management topics and at the same time build up sound knowledge in international management, advanced data analytics, project management and intercultural communication. You also choose individual specialisations - for example in Advanced Research Methods, Entrepreneurship or Cross-Border Mergers & Acquisitions. The curriculum is supplemented by up-to-date modules on artificial intelligence and its application in technical management, so that you are optimally prepared for the digital future of the industry. The programme concludes with your Master's thesis, in which you demonstrate your knowledge in a practical and academic manner.
All modules are taught in English. However, you have the option of taking examinations in German.

Tuition fees
Campus Berlin English-speaking: EU citizens: 3.900,00 EUR/semester | non-EU citizens: 6.300,00 EUR/semester
For all degree programmes we charge a one-off registration fee of 490.00 EUR and a one-off examination fee of 1,050.00 EUR.
For non-EU citizens, the one-off examination fee of EUR 1,050.00 is included in the tuition fee.
Discount for advance payment
If you pay in advance (by semester, annually, in full), the tuition fees can be reduced by up to 5%. (This discount is not compatible with early booking discounts).
Bachelor's students at mdh receive a 10% discount on the tuition fees for the Master's programme at mdh.
