Prof. Huo’s research focuses on operations management, supply chain optimization, service operations, and logistics. Over the past decade, he has led or participated in numerous high-level national and international research initiatives, particularly in areas such as:

  • Retailer private-label pricing strategies and supply chain coordination
  • Revenue management in airline industries under internet-driven demand
  • Service operations management theory and methodology
  • Logistics network planning and cost optimization

Recent major research grants include:

  • Key Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) on private-label pricing strategies (2016–2020)
  • NSFC General Program on airline ticket stock control under internet-enabled demand (2014–2017)
